Back Bay

This historic neighborhood, a hub for hot nightspots and excellent eateries, is an exciting and vibrant place to live. Mainly brownstone and mid-rise buildings, there are also several luxury buildings, hotels, and one of a kind properties scattered throughout. Most of Back Bay was actually once a swamp, an extension of the Charles River, which was filled in as part of one of the nations largest landfill projects in the mid 1800’s.

Bordered by the Charles River above, and the South End below, Back Bay is home to some of Boston’s most iconic landmarks. The famed Newbury Street, full of high end boutiques, small cafes and fine dining, is a major attraction for many who even relate it to having a European feel. The Boston Marathon goes right down Boylston Street, ending in Copley Square, directly below where our office is located! With its charming brownstones and peaceful tree-lined streets, Back Bay is one of Boston’s most exclusive and sought after neighborhoods.
